Nelson Dana Zicafoose
Nelson Dana Zicafoose, 92, of 121 Fieldale Road, Glen Wilton, Eagle Rock died Friday, May 30, 2003 at his residence. He was born in Asbury, West Virginia on February 16, 1911 a son of the late John and Rosa Flack Zicafoose. He was a retired farmer with Morlunda Farms of Lewisburg, West Virginia. He was a member of the Glen Wilton United Methodist Church, Glen Wilton Volunteer Fire Department and served as trustee of the Locust Bottom Cemetery near Glen Wilton.
He is survived by a wife, Quena Black Zicafoose of Lewisburg, WVa.; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Pat & Buck Monroe of Radford, and Kathryn & Frank Thurston of Glen Wilton; a son and daughter in law Dan & Barbara Zicafoose of Fincastle; a sister Mae Hayes of Asbury, WVa.; 10 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a wife Zella Hayes Zicafoose in 1988, by a daughter Barbara Johnson in 1989, and by 4 brothers and 7 sisters.
A Funeral Service will be conducted Monday morning at 11:00 A.M. from the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home in Clifton Forge with the Rev. Lee Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Locust Bottom Cemetery. Members of the Glen Wilton Volunteer Fire Department will serve as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends Sunday evening 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Nicely Funeral Home, the family will receive friends at anytime at the residence in Glen Wilton.
