Daniel Thomas Golden, age 42, of 113 Church Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem. He was born February 28, 1974 in Clifton Forge to the late Paul Golden, Sr. and Shirley Via Golden. He followed NASCAR and was an avid Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan. He is survived by his fiancée, Teresa Reynolds; three sisters, Ann Stanley and husband Ronnie of Buchanan, Sandy Bayne of Covington, and Ruth Golden of Covington; a brother, Paul Golden, Jr. and wife Annette of Covington; two uncles, Raymond Via and wife Shelva, and Wayne Via and wife Clara, all of Selma; two nephews, and a special niece, Sabrina Crawford; and a special friend, Shannon Smith. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Pastor Alfred Dearing officiating. Interment will follow in Galatia Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Botetourt County. Pallbearers will be selected from friends and family attending the service. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM at Nicely Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to CAYA Ministries, P.O.
