Condolence: To the family. Your mom was a mother to so many of us! So much of my high school was spent at the McClearn's household. Martha was always welcoming and willing to lend an ear. I will never forget her kindness, and acceptance of all the teen's gathering at her home. Her love and dedication to her son's was undeniable! May all of the good memories of Martha bring peace and a sense of happiness to all! WE will miss you Martha! Love, Melanie.

Condolence: Dear Family,

I would like to express my sympathy to you on this terrible loss. I met Martha at Central UMC and I can tell you that her sweet smile and inviting eyes told me of her warm and friendly nature. It was always the best part of the service when we got to "Pass the Peace" and I came to Martha. I did not know any of her family, but I know she dearly loved you and her Roanoke friends. She spoke of you often. I wish I had known her as a teacher friend as I am a teacher also. I know I would have learned so much by watching and listening to her. It was obvious to me that she was a teacher even before I knew it - she just had that way about her, it reminded me of my best teachers. I will miss her terribly and will keep you all close to my heart in prayer.
