The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Wayne Counts can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Mike Landis
Condolence: Vicky,

I am so sorry for your loss.... Wayne was a really nice guy! I had known Wayne most of my life as I spent a lot of time on Trout St growing up and also worked at the mill with him.
I too was a member of the PPRC Group at the mill and we took a good many trips together!!
He will be greatly missed by all that knew him!

Take comfort in knowing that he is NO LONGER SUFFERING from the HORRIBLE CANCER!!!! No one can imagine what a victim goes thought with that!!!

If there is anything we can do, please let us know.........

Mike & Sheila Landis

Condolence From: RICHARD CHILDS SR
Condolence: Wayne and I were childhood friends back in the early 60's. He lived in Idlewild and I on Pitzers Ridge. We played and explored everything from the Jackson River to the RAYON Dam on Potts Creek. We enjoyed other points of nature together in Boy Scout Troop 26. We had a great time as boys and carried our love of the outdoors through our manhood. Prayers of comfort for his family. Peace in knowing we will meet again, never to say good bye.
