Kathleen Jeanette Fore Nicely, age 76, of 2312 Grafton Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law. She was born January 29, 1941 in Clifton Forge to the late James Raleigh Fore and Gladys Daisy Johnson Fore. She was a former admissions secretary for Dabney S. Lancaster Community College and a member of Iron Gate Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband, Clinton Wayne Nicely, a daughter-in-law, Cindy Nicely; and a great granddaughter, Madison Tarr. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Nicely Wilhelm and husband Keith, who was very special to Kathleen and she loved him dearly, along with the grandchildren; two sons, Brian Scott Nicely and Darrin Wade Nicely, both of Clifton Forge; seven grandchildren, Melinda Wilhelm Baird and husband Bruce, Trevor Lee Nicely, Tanner Luke Nicely, Dana Wind and husband Brad, Anthony Delonte Eggleston, Justin Allen Baird, and Austin Morris; four great grandchildren, Liam Allen Baird, William Bradley Wind, Taylor Elise Morris, and Jacquelyn Bella Tarr; a number of nieces and nephews; and her wonderful friends, including her special sister-in-law, Audrey Nicely. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Brad Armes and Mr. Chris Fisher officiating. The services will conclude at the funeral home. A private interment will take place on Monday, January 8, in Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor. Active pallbearers will be Trevor Nicely, Tanner Nicely, W. V. Nicely, Timmy Nicely, Terry Loving, Bruce Baird, and Kenneth Crowder. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Nicely and Wesley Snead, Jr. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nicely Funeral Home.
