Condolence From: Vicky Burnside Smiley
Condolence: So sorry for your loss. Jimmy and I grew up together in Clifton Forge. I lived at 624 Brussel St. and Jimmy lived in the 500 block. I will always remember the good times we had going to school and playing all those old time games. Jimmy will be missed very much, by all who grew up with him. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

Condolence: It is with deep sadness to learn of Jim’s passing. I have never met a more kind and sincere gentleman than Jim. He had the most infectious smile and manner which even a stranger would admire. Jim and I had some grand times together as work mates and as just friends. Thank you very much to the Walker family for sharing such a true patriot with us all. Jim will never be forgotten nor will anyone ever replace him. May peace be with the entire extended family during the difficult period.

Condolence From: Jo Leitch Jones
Condolence: I was so sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. I knew him ever since I was a little girl. I was playing in the field behind his house when I was 8 years old and encountered a snake. I screamed bloody murder and Jimmy came running to me and killed the snake and made sure I was okay. I have never forgotten that. Over the years, he would come by my mother's house and play cards with the "Gang" there. He was a wonderful friend to everyone he met and always a hero to me who killed that snake I encountered. May Jimmy rest in piece and may our God give you comfort during this time and always. Love in Christ, Jo Leitch Jones.
