Clara Mae Gardner Harrison, age 83, of 4705 Longdale Furnace Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at her residence. She was born July 22, 1934 in Clifton Forge, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Russell Gardner. She was a member of Oak Hill Bible Church, and loved spending time with her family and her babies. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry “Buddy” Harrison Jr; a son, William Henry Harrison III; a son in law, Joe Bosely; and three great daughters, Britney Sims, Amber Sims, and Morgan Sims. She is survived by three daughters, Rebecca Ann Rosier and husband Mark of Lynchburg; Susan Gay Bosely of Eagle Rock; Pamela C. Adams of Covington; a son, John Ryan Harrison of Roanoke, 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. In keeping with her wishes, her body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Roger Bush officiating. A private inurnment will be held.
