Robert Allen “Bobby” Hurt, age 41, of 2904 Longdale Furnace Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at his residence. He was born February 17, 1977 in Alleghany County to Deborah Breeden Hurt and the late William Larry Hurt. Bobby was an avid Redskins fan and enjoyed animals and music. He lived in Tennessee for twenty years before moving back to Alleghany County for the last eight years. In addition to his father, Bobby was preceded in death by his two grandmothers, Juju and Addie; an infant sister; and his buddy Petey. He is survived by his mother, Debbie Hurt of Clifton Forge; his soulmate, Sheila Hurt; three daughters, Samantha Hurt, Kaitlyn Hurt, and Morgan Hurt, all of Elk Park, North Carolina; a brother and his best friend, William “Billy” Hurt II of Clifton Forge; three grandchildren, Emma Grace, Ever, and Anthony; a nephew and nieces, Aaron, Sydney, Savannah and Kayelee; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Mountain Regional Hospice, P.O. Box 637, Clifton Forge, VA 24422, or to the charity of your choice. In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. There are no services at this time, but friends may visit any time at Debbie’s home, 2904 Longdale Furnace Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia.
