Walter Chapman Lamb

Walter Chapman Lamb, age 66, of 216 Roxbury St. Clifton Forge, Virginia died Sunday, January 26, 2003 at the Alleghany Regional Hospital, Low Moor.
He was born in Botetourt County, Virginia on December 26, 1936 a son of the late Chap Tucker and Lizzie Lamb.
Mr. Lamb was a retired self employed mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Friend Lamb; four daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa Pritt of Clifton Forge, Ruby and Tommy Burns of Hot Springs, Libby and Rober Neal of Clifton Forge and Linda and Shota Nadirashvili of Iron Gate; one step-daughter, Sandra and Joe Sammons of Clifton Forge; three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Susan Halsey of Sumter, SC, Richard and Ginger Caldwell of Clifton Forge and Frank and Tammy Lamb of Clifton Forge; one sister-in-law, Helen Mitchel Huffman; thirty one grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia White.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 28, 2003 from the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Rev. John Carrier officiating. Interment will follow in the Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Nicely Funeral Home.
