Obituary for Nora Lee White Quinn

Nora Lee White Quinn, age 89, of Amelia, Virginia, formerly of Clifton Forge, died Friday, August 24, 2007 at the Amelia Nursing Home in Amelia. She was born June 3, 1918 in Gala, Virginia. She previously was employed by the Chesapeake and Ohio Hospital in Clifton Forge, and retired from the State of Virginia Department of Rehabilitation. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James T. Quinn, two sisters, Katherine Baughn and Pauline Bryan, and a brother, Phillip White. She is survived by a daughter, Ann Clark Shriberg of Norfolk, Massachusetts, three sons, Robert L. Clark and wife Carol of Crozet, Stephen A. “Sam” Clark and wife Rene of Clifton Forge, and Raymond H. Clark and wife Susan of Waynesboro, a brother, Edward White of Belksville, Maryland four grandchildren, Stephen A. Clark, Jr. and wife Jeanie of Atlanta, Georgia, Kelly Williams of Mechanicsville, David L. Clark of Mechanicsville, and Michael Clark of New York, New York, three great grandchildren, Cassie Williams and Keith Williams of Mechanicsville and Emily Stidman of Atlanta, Georgia, and a number of nieces and nephews. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 27, 2007 at 3:00 PM in Galatia Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Gala, Eagle Rock, Virginia with Reverend Jim Grogan officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Monday afternoon at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to The Alzheimer’s Association, 2728 Colonial Ave, S. W., Suite 2, Roanoke, VA 24015.
