Condolences

Condolence From: Lacy Stinnett
Condolence: Dear Connie, Jackie and Amy, I was very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. My prayers are with you all. Momma was very upset as well. She keeps talking about how wonderful you all were to us when dad passed all those years ago. I remember Joe being a influence on me in the years that followed. The first memory that came back to me was that he taught me how to tie a tie the first time that i got one that wasn't a clip on. Again all our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Love always, Lacy Stinnett

Condolence: I had the honor of knowing and working with Mr. Whalen on the Alleghany County Water and Sewer Commission for many years. He was a good, firm, and fair man who provided a great example of leadership in his community. I completely respected him as a leader and friend. He will be greatly missed by me and by all who knew him. I send my most heart-felt condolences to his family.
