John Hermon Kendig, age 72, of 95 Jessamine Land Road, Christiansburg, Virginia died Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the home of his brother, 1707 Selma-Low Moor Road, Selma. He was born March 14, 1945 in Clifton Forge to the late Albert R. Kendig, Sr. and Vineta Craft Kendig. He was a truck driver for Jeff Kendig Trucking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, A. R. Kendig, Jr. and two sisters, Alma Ruth Goodwin and Janie Lee Kendig. He is survived by a brother, Jeff Kendig and wife Emily of Selma and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. There are no services planned at this time.
