Obituary for Corbin Reynolds IV

Corbin Miller “Billy” Reynolds IV, age 80, of Clifton Forge, Virginia died July 3, 2018 at the Alleghany Health and Rehabilitation Center in Clifton Forge. Billy was born on September 3, 1937, at the former Chesapeake and Ohio Hospital in Clifton Forge, to the late Corbin Miller “Bud” Reynolds III and Ruby Maydian Reynolds. He grew up in Glen Wilton, Virginia and was a member of Glen Wilton Presbyterian Church. He was a draftsman for the Virginia Department of Transportation. He loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his second wife, Frances Campbell Reynolds, a brother-in-law, Frank Wildhaber, and a beloved aunt, Louise Reynolds. He is survived by three sons, Timothy Reynolds, Kevin Reynolds, and Kenny Reynolds and wife Lisa, all of Salem; three daughters, Susan Holmgren and husband John of Roanoke, Katherine Reynolds of Selma, and Theresa Keister and husband Dallas of Glen Wilton; thirteen grandchildren, Kayla, Christopher, Aaron, Ashley, Travis, Heather, Caleb, Brooke, Kaileigh, Hunter, Haley, Summer, and Austin; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Jane Lyle and husband Ernie of Bacova, and Anita Wildhaber of Salem; the mother of his four oldest children, Joyce Shell; and a number of nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Robert McRae officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning, one hour prior to the service at Nicely Funeral Home.
