Barbara Evon Scott McAllister, 79, of 635 T.C. Walker Road, Millboro, Virginia died Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Greenbrier Healthcare Center in Lewisburg, West Virginia.
She was born on August 26, 1939 in Portsmouth, Virginia, a daughter of the late Warren Cecil and Williebell Scott. She was a member of Millboro Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her birth mother, Ethel May Lowe; her husband, Frank McAllister; two sisters, Linda Wood and Brenda Jack; and three brothers, Gene Scott, Gary Scott, and R. B. McQueen.
She is survived by five sons, Dee McAllister of Craigsville, Frank McAllister, Jr. and fiancé Faye of Craigsville, Douglas McAllister of Narrows, Bobby McAllister and wife Lynn of Millboro, and Ralph McAllister and wife Dottie of Lewisburg, WV; two sisters, Sue Mulrath and husband Pete, and Judith Marlene Holvey, all of Michigan; two brothers, Lonnie Scott and wife Sharon of TN, and Russell Scott and wife Janet of Kentucky; fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Ida McAllister; and a number of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Natalie Loan and husband James of Millboro.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM in Millboro Christian Church Cemetery, Millboro, VA with Reverend Lloyd Via officiating. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.
