Thelma May Kelly, age 71, of Hot Springs, Virginia died Monday, January 21, 2019 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem. She was born May 2, 1947 in Iron Gate to the late Charles and Violet Campbell Kelly. She made bank seals for Jackson River Enterprises and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Thelma enjoyed coloring and collecting pictures of everyone she met. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Daniel and Martha Campbell. She is survived by an aunt, Helen Niday of Troutville; an uncle, Lawrence Campbell and wife Sandy of Roanoke; and a number of cousins. In keeping with her wishes, her body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Iron Gate Baptist Church with Ms. Maria Brown officiating.
