Condolence: Thinking of you Ruth and also Eric! I have such fond memories of you riding with ,then later driving, my grandparents to North Carolina to visit Ron and Aunt Jeanette!! My grandmother loved being a match maker and they were both so happy for you and Ron. I have one vivid memory of Ron when he came to visit my family when we lived in Cornelia. I was probably in my early teens. Ron never stoped moving the whole time he was there! From.doing calisthenics in his room to playing tennis with me ,taking long walks, he never stopped!!!! He had boundless energy !!! I hope you are doing well Ruth. Mother is still able to recognize us most of the time!.I am divorced now and living alone in San Diego! Still working in a busy out patient recovery room!

I am so saddened to hear of Rons passing. Eric I am your 3rd cousin. My grandfather Charlie and your grandmother Jeanette were brother and sister. I remember when my grandmother introduced Ruth to your father.Ruth my mother.Aunt Ida and my grandparents all loved you and Ron. I'm so sorry all the years and miles have separated us but we are and always will be family. I am at a loss for words to comfort you. Condolence: Ruth and Eric, I'm so sorry for your loss. Ron was a great man. I knew him my whole life and had a lot of respect for him. He would visit Dad a lot during his illness and before, all the way up to his death. Just today a bunch of us at the work center was talking about all the fun times we had with Ron. He will be missed by a lot of people on the forest, this district and the fire community.
