Charles Allen Salalila, Sr., age 61, of 100 Nicholas Drive, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Saturday, March 2, 2019 at LewisGale Hospital – Alleghany in Low Moor.
He was born August 5, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Frankie and Alfreda Murray Salalila. He was a truck driver for Roehl and loved motorcycles and guns.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Greg Murray, and a niece, Jeanna Wright.
He is survived by a daughter, Christine Salalila of Maryland; a son, Charles A. “Chuck” Salalila, Jr. and his wife Marlena of Clifton Forge; a sister, Cookie Wright; four grandchildren, Christopher Salalila, Anthony Armstrong, Destiny Salalila, and Hunter Doan; a nephew, Ernie Wright, Jr.; and a special friend, Erica Kincaid.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Solid Rock Ministries Church in Covington with Reverend Pamela Irvine officiating.
