I tried to call John today as we've usually talked once or twice a year for a number of years and I hadn't heard from him in a while.
When I called, I received a "disconnected" message, so I attempted to look up his new number and found the sad news of his passing.

John was an amazing man and I always enjoyed talking with him. My Dad and Mom thought the world of John and Connie. They were good and loyal friends, the kind that don't seem to exist these days.

John was a good man with an incisive mind and a great sense of humor. He was always a pleasure to talk with and I will miss our conversations.

I know he will be deeply missed by his family and I offer heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.

Condolence: Mr. Uarich was one of our very favorite customers at Blossman Gas in Powhatan - he always came in the office with a smile on his face - nothing seemed to get him down even after his hip surgery. We saw him once a month for 13 years - on his last visit to our office in June, he told us his home had sold and would be moving in with family. We are so very sorry to hear of his passing - we will miss him dearly.

Condolence: My condolences to all the family. I worked with John at Hercules in Covington and he was always a pleasure to work with ..... I was in Project Eng and John was in Process/Technical Eng so we interfaced frequently on new projects over the years. Always enjoyed his unique sense of humor. May God cover you with His peace during your time of sorrow.
