Nancy Lee Rose Wilmore, age 72, of 513 Verge Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia, formerly of Iron Gate died Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at The Woodlands Health and Rehabilitation Center, Clifton Forge.

She was born April 12, 1947 in Hot Springs, Virginia to the late Lee Roy and Jessie May Wills Rose. She was a homemaker throughout her life and loved attending special Olympic dances and star shows.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Edward Wilmore, Sr., and a sister, Cindy Ann Hodges.

She is survived by a son, Clarence E. “Junior” Wilmore, Jr.; two daughters, Tammy Caldwell and husband Frankie, Nancy Mae Wilmore all of Clifton Forge; two sisters, Dorothy Mae Rose and Joyce Johnson both of Natural Bridge; one grandson, Frankie “Little Frankie” Caldwell, Jr.; a number of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Steve Vess and Ruth Britt.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 2:00PM in Iron Gate Community Cemetery with Revered Victor Nicely officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Active pallbearers will be Michael Adkins, Brian Adkins, Frankie Caldwell, Jerry Sammons, William Deisher, and Ernie Shinault. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until time of service at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.
