Obituary for Michele Blake
Michele Nelson Blake, age 53, of Sheperdsville, Kentucky and formerly of Clifton Forge, Virginia died Tuesday, September 3, 2019 in Sheperdsville.
Michele was born on June 17, 1966 in Clifton Forge to the George Nelson and Linda Roth Duncan. She was a graduate of Alleghany High School and served in the United States Navy. She was a homemaker throughout her life.
She is survived by her father, George Nelson and wife Peggy of Longdale; her mother, Linda Duncan and husband Tom of Salem; a daughter, Amanda Daugherty and husband Joseph as well as two grandchildren, Tristen Daugherty and Nathen Daugherty of Boones Mill; two sisters, Debbie Dolin and husband Randy of McKinney Hollow and Carman Carlton of Staunton; three brothers, Jeff Tinsley and wife Meg of Williamsburg, Chris Tinsley and wife Jenny of Clifton Forge, and George Nelson of Longdale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
