Obituary for Pauline Edwina Edwards
Pauline Edwina Edwards, age 71, of 56 Edwards Drive, Millboro, Virginia gained her wings, Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany, Low Moor.
She was born May 27, 1948 in Nimrod Hall, Virginia to the late Charles and Lina Long Edwards. She worked for Bacova and was a former member of Siloam Baptist Church in Millboro Springs where she was a great singer with the former family choir, Gospel Tones. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, working in the yard, being outside, and was known for being a hard worker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a number of brothers and sisters.
She is survived by three daughters; Aileen Edwards Harris and husband Kevin, Regina Edwards, both of Richmond, and DeShawn Wooding of Covington; a son, Michael Edwards of Columbus, OH; four sisters, Carolyn Beverly and husband Johnny of Clifton Forge, Louise Edwards of Millboro, Eva Edwards of Waynesboro, and JoAnn Edwards Pettus and husband Lloyd of Richmond; three brothers, Ricky Edwards of Covington, her twin, Paul Edwards and wife Ann of Craigsville, and Joe Edwards and wife Vanessa of Waynesboro; five grandchildren, Cori Edwards, Kendall Edwards, Kaiya Lian, Kenedi Harris, and Kelsy Harris; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Reggie Johnson and Reverend Vanessa Johnson officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends on Monday morning from 11:00AM until time of service.
