Obituary for William Booth Jr.

William Clay Booth, Jr., age 72, of 10953 Cowpasture River Highway, Millboro, Virginia died Sunday, February 23, 2020 at his residence.
He was born May 12, 1947 in Giles County, Virginia to the late William Clay Booth, Sr. and Edith Virginia Kast Booth. He was self-employed in the masonry business and was a member of Rehoboth Community Church. He loved music, was a talented guitarist, and played with “Bonnie and the Little River Boys” band. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting guns.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Booth, and a brother-in-law, Everett Riley.
He is survived by his soulmate, Joyce Woodson of Millboro; two daughters, Alisa Bennett and husband Billy of Mt. Solon and Betty Wimer of Verona; a son, William Clay Booth III and wife Juliet of Staunton; a sister, Brenda Riley of Millboro; two brothers, Phillip Booth, and wife Shirley and Darrell Booth, and wife Margaret, both of Millboro; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 2:00 PM in Rehoboth Community Church in Millboro, Virginia with Pastors Bill Gram, Bill Robertson, and Mike Fisher officiating. The family will visit with friends on Saturday afternoon one hour prior to the service at Rehoboth Community Church.
