How saddened we were to learn of John's passing. He was a real gentleman and pleasure to know. His was a life well lived. May God bless his family in this difficult time.

John and I have spent many days afield hunting and fishing and just sitting on the porch being friends. As we aged, we spent less time doing and more time reminiscing. We had plans to do more less strenuous things like pier fishing. We procrastinated to long. And so, let us all take an important lesson from this good man's passing. Let us not put off the things we know we can and should do. John's friendship has been a positive influence on me for all the years I've known him so is it any wonder that he still speaks to me from heaven. May he rest in peace. I will miss him greatly.
