Obituary for Michael Perry

Michael Allen (Wilbur) Perry, Sr., age 59, of 233 Alleghany Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Sunday, May 31, 2020 at his residence.

He was born March 14, 1961 in Clifton Forge to the late Oler Ira Dudley, Sr. and Clara Knick Dudley.

He was a former heavy equipment operator of R. L. Johnston Contracting, who loved to hunt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy Ann Putnam Perry of Clifton Forge; four children, Michele Perry, Travis Perry, and Michael Allen Perry, Jr., all of Clifton Forge and Charity Perry of Covington; two sisters, Sandra Perry of Roanoke and Mary Perry of Clifton Forge; four brothers, James Dudley and wife, Wanda of Selma, and special brother, Kenneth Perry and wife, Kathy, Oler Dudley, Jr. and wife, Brandy, and Lawrence Dudley and wife, Connie, all of Clifton Forge; a special sister-in-law, Golda Westbury; nine grandchildren, special grandson Gage Perry, Caleb Perry, Ethan Morris, Nate Hallet, special granddaughter Kami Hallet, Bentlee Morris, Cooper Morris, Chase Perry, and Alden Perry; a number of nieces and nephews; special friends, Nannie and Frank Foscoe; and his dog, "Chopper".

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. There are no services scheduled at this time.


The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to The American Heart Association.
