Obituary for Vincent Ross

Vincent Monroe Ross, Sr., age 83, of 7400 Newbys Crossing Drive, North Chesterfield Virginia died Sunday, June 7, 2020 at his residence.
He was born May 4, 1937 in Blackstone, Virginia to the late James O. Ross, Sr. and Rosa B. Heighter Ross. He served in the United States Army for 20 years, retiring as Master Sergeant. He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. He enjoyed working puzzles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 6 brothers, James Ross, Bernard Ross, Charles Ross, Everett Ross, Ulysses Ross, and Rosamond Ross, and a sister, Rhonda Blakeney.
He is survived by his wife Eutha Patricia Davis Ross of Clifton Forge; a daughter, Belinda Gaines of Baltimore, MD; a son, Vincent Ross, Jr. of Richmond; a step daughter, Janina Davis of New York; four sisters, Ethel Thompson and husband George of Clifton Forge, Maxine Lee and husband Charles of Clifton Forge, LaMara Jones of North Chesterfield, and Eunice Boulware of High Point, NC; a granddaughter, Kyiesha Redden of Baltimore, MD; a step granddaughter, Altria Ayinde of New York; a number of nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 12:00 Noon in the Mausoleum of Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor with Reverend Preston Tyler officiating. The family will visit with friends at Nicely Funeral Home on Saturday morning from 10:30 AM until the time of service.
