She loved her Beanie Babies, Redskins memorabilia, Disney, traveling with her family, her friends and especially her grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to watch her grandchildren play ball or dance. Rere also really enjoyed Christmas time and getting gifts for family and loved ones throughout the year. There is no way to know how many lives ReRe impacted.....her students, parents, fellow teachers, staff, family and friends were touched by a dear soul that freely loved and truly cared. The world dimmed when ReRe drew her last breath. Let us brighten it up with remembrances of her. Let her influence live on in those whose lives she touched along life’s way. Prayers for comfort and peace that passes all understanding.........and may we remember to dance.....she loved to dance with her kids! Donna Simpson Nicely

ReRe was the perfect teacher for the Pre-K students, our school's babies. She was energetic, creative, and caring. At the beginning of every year, to make it easy for her students could find "their" room, she placed footprints from the front door of the school, through the long hallway, and past the cafeteria to their room. . She just had a knack to make it easy for the little ones to get a good start. Now, those footprints lead to heaven. Hanging on my Christmas tree is a Rudolph ornament made from an old light bulb which her students crafted and delivered to the faculty and staff. It is a reminder of her and what a special co-worker she was. Everyone wants to make a difference in this life. She did.
