Jane, I was so sorry to hear of Ernie's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family members.
May God be ever near you in the days to come as you adjust to Ernie's passing. I fondly remember him growing
up in Eagle Rock. Eagle Rock back then was a great place for children to grow up in and the many close friends
that were made by those living in the small township of Eagle Rock.

Sincerely yours,
Bonnie S. Britt

Jane and family. I was so sorry to hear about "Big E". My favorite story of you two was the one where my Mom and his Mom would drive him to Glen Wilton for his date with you. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall in that car. When I shared it with your grandkids in Fincastle a few years ago, we were all laughing and Big E just sat in the driver's seat and smiled. He always had a smile when I would run into y'all. He was never very talkative with me, but always had a smile. I wish you and your family much strength over the next few days. Jane, hold on tight to your memories and share them with everyone. Make sure your grandchildren will never forget him and they will share with their children. Much love to you all.
