In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Otmer McCullough Newcomb.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Sizemore and husband Steve and Sherry Ayers both of Covington; a son Richard Newcomb and wife Phyllis of Chesterfield; a brother, Haynes Barger and wife Ruth; four grandchildren, Heather Eggleston and husband Jody, Ashley Forbes and husband Brandon, Brandon Sizemore, Dusty Kidd and wife Jan; six great grandchildren, Chloe & Kinley Eggleston, Kylie, Grace and Kaelyn Forbes, and Preston Kidd; and a number of nieces and nephews.

To the Newcomb family, Im sorry to hear about Mrs. Newcomb. I will always remember her for coaching -The Spinners softball team. I think that was the name. She was a good coach and a nice person. Remember she is resting in Jesus arms. We will be praying for the family.
