Obituary for John Matthew Wilmore
John Matthew Wilmore, age 75, of The Springs Nursing Center, Hot Springs, Virginia and formerly of Iron Gate and Clifton Forge, died Friday, January 8, 2021 at The Springs.
He was born December 6, 1945 in Iron Gate to Ernest Sorrells and Annie Bell Wilmore.
He is survived by a nephew, Clarence Wilmore, Jr. and two nieces, Tammy Caldwell and husband Frankie, and their child “Little Frankie”, and May Wilmore all of Clifton Forge; and an aunt, Nancy Wilmore.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Iron Gate Community Cemetery, Iron Gate with Reverend Victor Nicely officiating. There will be no visitation. However, friends may call during normal business hours at Nicely Funeral Home.
