George Edward “Ed” Loudermilk, age 74, of 800 W. Ridgeway Street, Scott Hill Apartments, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Monday, February 22, 2021 at Alleghany Health and Rehab, Clifton Forge.
Ed was born September 20, 1946 in Robson, Fayette County, West Virginia to the late Edgar Vance Loudermilk and Eustacia Isabelle Rollins Loudermilk. He was a graduate of Montgomery High School in Montgomery, WV, attended Dabney S. Lancaster Community College and was a machine operator for Hercules. He also worked in the photo lab at Walmart, was a nursing assistant at the former Liberty House Nursing Home, and enjoyed singing.
He is survived by a daughter, Donna Harris and husband Patrick of Covington; a son, Darrell Loudermilk of Selma; a step sister, Tonya Jacobs of West Virginia; his former wife, Peggy Joyce Ruble and her husband Larry of Low Moor; and a special friend, Jessie Taylor of Clifton Forge.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. There are no funeral arrangements planned at this time.
