Jasper Pryor Davis, age 38, of 321 Roxbury Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Monday, March 15, 2021 at his residence.
He was born April 3, 1982 in Alleghany County, Virginia to Thomas Gary Davis and the late Elizabeth “Bitsy” Shaffer Davis. He was a self-employed carpenter who enjoyed working with chain saws, gardening, and spending time outdoors. He loved his animals.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Theodore Cross Shaffer and Violet Eloise Shaffer and paternal grandparents, Carlton Davis and Mama Madge Davis.
He is survived by his father, Gary Davis of Brevard, N.C.; a daughter, Kendra Violet Davis of Clifton Forge; two sons, Jeremiah Cole Davis and Jordan Gage Davis, both of Clifton Forge; three sisters, Noel Davis and Keli Davis, both of Clifton Forge, and Lori Davis of Florida; two brothers, Jason Davis and Brandt Davis, both of North Carolina; his girlfriend, Wendy White of Clifton Forge; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and his dog, Fancy.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
