Obituary for Phyllis Waskey (Bogan)

Phyllis Ann Bogan Waskey, age 81, of 800 Ridgeway Street, Scott Hill Apartments, Clifton Forge, Virginia and formerly of Bacova, died Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at her residence.
She was born October 28, 1939 in Highland County, Virginia to the late William Lockridge Bogan and Bonnie Kate Wagner Bogan. She was a self-employed house sitter and custodian. She enjoyed working puzzles and was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jean Waskey, and a sister and brother.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Waskey of Clifton Forge and Stephanie Sprouse and husband Harry Stuples of Goshen; a son, Patrick Bogan and wife Tammie of Hot Springs; two sisters, Julia Smith of Hot Springs and Bonnie Turner of Broadway; a brother, Billy Bogan of Shelton, WA; four grandchildren, Michael Thornton and friend Susie Campbell, Brian Nichols, Brooke Stuples, and Anthony Hiner; one great grandson, Gunner Thornton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM in Warm Springs Cemetery in Warm Springs with Pastor Donald Lee Altizer officiating. Interment will immediately follow. The family will visit with friends at the cemetery following the service.
