Virginia Lucille Musser Stone, age 80, of 5105 Longdale Furnace Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the Woodlands Health and Rehab Center-Clifton Forge.
She was born November 14, 1940 in Arizona to the late Wayne Mervel Musser Sr. and Virgie Mildred McCulley. She was a cashier at various convenience stores, a molder for Arcadia and a truck driver. She enjoyed gardening, kayaking and spending time with her dog, Blue.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Stone; and a daughter, Paula Jones.
She is survived by a son, David Altizer of Roanoke; a sister, Helen Frances Taylor of Pasadina, MD; two brothers, Thomas Edward “Tommy” Musser and wife Velma of Greensboro, NC and Wayne Mervel Musser, Jr. and wife Carol Sue of Sherman, TX; two grandchildren, Jai Jones and Gabriel Jones; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Paul Brokaw officiating. The family will visit with friends at Nicely Funeral Home following the service.
