Obituary for Deborah Cornwell
Deborah Lynn Damron Cornwell, age 63, of 801 N. Beverly Avenue, Covington, Virginia died on her birthday, Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, Maryland.
She was born in Kentucky to the late Clifford Damron and Anna Mae Fitch Bosoky and was a master plater for Plating Technology, Inc. in Ohio. She loved sewing and gardening in her spare time.
She is survived by her husband, Brian Eugene Cornwell of Covington; two daughters, Ginger Gilmore of Maryland, and Sherry Barker of Covington; a son, Donald Sorbara of Columbus, OH; a step daughter, Tonya Watson; three sisters, Ella Blevins of Ohio, Darlene Ball of Florida, and Tonya Blevins of Ohio; a brother, Billy Damron of Ohio; two step sisters, Nancy Deitz of North Carolina and Linda Pond; a step brother, Floyd Pond of Florida; twelve grandchildren, Raven, Chris, Donna, Bernard, Donnie, Aerionna, Shaelyn, Lalo, Nonnia, Maria, James-Lee, and Trinity; two great grandchildren, Alex and Ivory; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A time of visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge. Following the visitation, Deborah’s body will be cremated.
