Obituary for Richard Albert Hall
Richard Albert Hall, age 88, of 836 Vulcan Avenue, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.
Richard was born July 29, 1933 in Clifton Forge to the late Charles Preston and Letcher Golden Love Hall. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a caregiver who enjoyed cooking and walking his dogs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eleven siblings, Preston Hall, Other Hall, Raymond Hall, Clarence Hall, Cecil Hall, Della Hall Deeds, Margie Hall Humphries, Ernest Hall, Lillian Hall Wood, Charles “Jiggs” Hall, and Virginia Hall, and also by his canine companions, Taffy, Penny, and Peaches.
He is survived by his best friend and sister, Bernice Crawford and husband, Malcolm of Covington, and a number pf nieces and nephews.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. There will be no services.
