Obituary for Carole Ann Persinger Unroe
Carole Ann Persinger Unroe, age 69, of 3606 Douthat Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at her residence.
She was born April 25, 1953 in Clifton Forge to the late James F. and Lucille Francis Persinger. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and a member of First Christian Church of Clifton Forge. She loved her family and her dog “Doodles”. She enjoyed shopping at the Dollar Store with her granddaughter, Brooklyn, and spending time at yard sales and going for rides.
She is survived by her husband Barry Unroe, a son, Chris Unroe and wife Susy, and a sister, Martha Persinger Unroe and husband Steve, all of Clifton Forge; three grandchildren, Christopher A. Unroe and wife Brittany, Brittany Downer and husband Cody, and Brooklyn Unroe; three great grandchildren, Christopher L. Unroe, Skylar Downer, and Alexis Downer; a number of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Tim Helms, Johnny Martin, and Pam & J.W. Dudding.
In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. The family will receive friends for a celebration of Carole’s life on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the residence on Douthat Road.
