Jaimie Lee Antonow Dillon, age 31, of 51 Cohee Lane, Fairfield, Virginia died Thursday, June 23, 2022 in Fairfield.
Jaimie was born October 25, 1990 in Allentown, Pennsylvania to Donald Peter and Linda Marie DallaPalu Antonow. She was a teacher for the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind. She has loved church throughout her life, and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Clifton Forge. She was very involved with her church ministry, helping those with special needs. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, and homemaker who enjoyed cooking, singing, crafts, and decorating.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Nonni and Nonno DallaPalu, and paternal grandmother, Grammie Antonow.
She is survived by her husband, William “Billy” Dillon, Jr. and daughter, Hopelyn Dillon, as well as her mother and father, Donald and Linda Antonow, all of Fairfield; her grandfather, Peter Pop” Antonow of Hampton, NJ; her father-and mother-in-law, Bill and Karen Dillon of Raphine; a sister-in-law, Laura Cmaylo of Marion, NC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Pastor Brandon Nicely officiating. A private interment will follow at Bethel United Methodist Cemetery, Botetourt County. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
Billy has requested that family and friends take the time, if they wish, to share memories and stories about Jaimie on paper so that her young daughter, Hopelyn, may learn of her mother through the thoughts of those that loved her. These may be mailed to Billy at the residence, 51 Cohee Ln, Fairfield, VA 24435 and will be given to her when she is older.
