Obituary for Reginald Raymond "Buddy" Miller
Reginald Raymond “Buddy” Miller, age 73, of Madison Heights, Virginia died Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at his residence.
He was born January 23, 1949 in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Raymond Odie Miller and Roxie Mae Wolfe Miller. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys, UVA, NASCAR, Dale Earnhardt fan, Richard Petty fan, and loved riding into the sunset with Matt Dillon and John Wayne.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Miller “Kitten” Tingler and Janet Marie Miller Isley; a brother, Marvin Tingler; and brother-in-law, Marshall Hedden.
He is survived by three sisters, Margaret Jeffries and husband, Jimmy of Iron Gate, Juanita Hedden of North Carolina, Jackie Tingler of Maryland; a number of nieces and nephews; and his two sidekicks, Mike Jeffries and Kim Andrews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Lester Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
