Obituary for Julia Saville Mahaney

Julia Saville Mahaney, age 70, of 813 Park Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Thursday, August 25, 2022 at her residence.
Julia was born February 2, 1952 in Clifton Forge to the late James Sterling and Bernice Simmons Saville. She was a jewelry counter clerk for Walmart and attended Central United Methodist Church. She enjoyed watching college basketball and working with flowers. She like reading, writing, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Dawn Marie Belcher and husband Jerry Wayne, Wendy Lee Marshall and husband David, Sr., and William Sterling Mahaney and significant other, Donna Bland, and a sister, Linda Feazell, all of Clifton Forge; five grandchildren, James Gregg, Aaron Gregg, Seth Belcher, Chevelle Mahaney, and David Marshall, Jr.; a number of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and a special friend, David Spohn.
In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Lynn Wright officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
