Betty Jean Taylor Tolley, age 90, of Madison, Virginia and formerly of Iron Gate, Virginia died Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Autumn Care Center, Madison.
She was born October 19, 1931 in Cranberry, West Virginia to the late Paul Stapleton Taylor and Doricha Ethel Parker Taylor. She was a homemaker throughout her life as well as a babysitter. She loved playing games and working on activities at the Autumn Care Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Harrison Tolley; a brother, Randy Taylor; and a sister, JoAnn Plott.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Spellman and husband Wayne; a son, Kevin Tolley and wife Angela both of Warrenton; a sister, Jackie Underwood of Selma; a brother, Richard Taylor of Mansfield, Texas; five grandchildren, Jennifer Scheulen, Kacie Bradley, Alex Tolley, Jason Scruggs, Phillip Scruggs; eight great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at 2:00PM in Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge with Reverend Victor Nicely officiating.
