Obituary for Dee Edward McAllister
Dee Edward McAllister, age 65, of Robertson Road, Craigsville, Virginia died Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at his residence.
He was born June 3, 1958 in Bath County, Virginia to the late Frank Hileman McAllister and Barbara Evon Scott McAllister. He was a tree foreman for Xylem and an avid outdoors man. He loved riding his Harley and spending time with friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph McAllister.
He is survived by his significant other, Georgiana Wilhelm of Craigsville; a daughter, Julie Marie McAllister of Millboro; two sons, Christopher McAllister and girlfriend, Brittany Hise of Roanoke, and Michael Scott McAllister of Millboro; two step sons, Brett Putnam of Goshen and Anthony Wilhelm of Craigsville; three brothers, Frank McAllister, Jr. and wife, Faith of Craigsville, Douglas McAllister of Narrows, and Bobby McAllister and wife, Lynn of Millboro; a sister-in-law, Dottie McAllister of Lewisburg; six grandchildren, Caleb McAllister, Chelase McAllister, Mason McAllister, Layla Hijazi, Eli Thompson, Lukas McAllister; and a number of nieces and nephews including a special niece, Hope McAllister.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
