Obituary for Charles Samuel Tucker

Charles Samuel Tucker, age 75, of 1336 Jackson Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at his residence.
He was born on September 29, 1946 in Alleghany County, Virginia to the late Joseph Knighton Tucker, Sr. and Mattie Tingler Tucker. Charles served in the United States Army, and was a retired truck driver for Cole Amusement Company. He was a member of Hot Springs Baptist Church, enjoyed the outdoors, and loved spending time with his family, including his dog (Brody).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Leola Mason; four brothers, Joseph Tucker, Wilbur Tucker, Donald Tucker, and Ryland Tucker; and a granddaughter, Natasha Tucker.
He is survived by his wife, Marion Hess Tucker, and children, Tanya Whiting and husband Edward, Irene Tucker, Michael Tucker, Marvin Tucker, and Mitchell Tucker and wife, Ramona, all of Clifton Forge; a brother, Danny Tucker of Botetourt; eight grandchildren, Travis, Nathaniel, Victoria, Ryan, Nicholas, Ryland, Samantha, and Daniel; a great grandson, Mason; a number of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Angela, Douglas, Hildegard, Monika, and Joe. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Pastor Tim Mason officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge. There will be no formal visitation. Friends may call anytime during normal business hours at Nicely Funeral Home.
