Obituary for Donald Edward Romanello
Donald Edward Romanello, age 88, of Clifton Forge, Virginia died Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Alleghany Health and Rehab Center in Clifton Forge.
Donald was born September 24, 1934 in Hinton, West Virginia to the late Chester James and Myrtle Sears Romanello. Throughout his life, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Bistodeau, and a brother, James Joseph Romanello.
He is survived by a sister, Madeline Lilly of Richmond; a brother, John Romanello, and wife Irene, of Clifton Forge; and six nieces and nephews, Caroline Atkinson and husband Irvin, John E. Romanello, Jr., Jeffrey Romanello, Tommy Gravely, JoAnn Fisher, and David Bistodeau.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Romanello Family Cemetery in Hinton, West Virginia with Reverend Lynn Wright officiating. There will be no formal visitation. However, friends may call anytime during normal business hours at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.
