Obituary for Quintin Reid
Quintin Lyle Reid, age 65, of 41 Bessie’s Lane, Staunton, Virginia, and formerly of Iron Gate, Virginia died Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the Shenandoah House in Fishersville, Virginia.
He was born August 27, 1957 in Alleghany County, Virginia to the late Ernest Bell Reid and Emily Ellen Tyree Reid. He was a correctional officer for the Staunton Correctional Center. He enjoyed watching football and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by a daughter, Jessica Hannah and husband Wayne of Bath County; three sisters, Ramona Tucker, and husband Jesse of Eagle Rock, Earleen Withrow of Clifton Forge, and Dena Taliaferro, and husband Doug, of Selma; two grandchildren, Ashley Hannah and Katelynn Hannah; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.
