Obituary for Moses Pendleton Hunter Jr.

Moses Pendleton Hunter, Jr. age 73, 802 W. Ridgeway St. Scott Hill Apts. Clifton Forge, Virginia died Thursday, October 20, 2022 at his residence.
He was born June 27, 1949 in Alleghany County, Virginia to Bernice Boxley Hunter and the late Moses Pendleton Hunter, Sr. He worked for The Greenbrier and was best known for his car detailing. Moses was a member of Gospel Tabernacle Church in Covington and First Baptist Church in Clifton Forge.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Hunter; and a sister Jewel Lewis and a nephew Lil Garry Hunter.
In addition to his mother, Bernice Hunter; he is survived by two daughters, Christie Hunter of Virginia Beach and Daneisha Hunter of Clifton Forge; two sons, Keith Hunter and Moses Hunter III both of Virginia; four sisters, Donna Hunter, Valerie Champion, Karen Adams and Morinda Hunter all of Covington; a brother Garry Hunter (Teresa) of Covington; four grandchildren, Romello Brower, Dreonte Hawkins, Zyian Hunter and Demontre Hunter; a special friend Laura Waddy; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton forge with Elder Pete Moore officiating. Following the service his body will be cremated. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
