Obituary for Kathleen Owens O'Conner
Kathleen Marie Owens O’Conner, age 90, of 112 Bath Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Lewis Gale Hospital – Alleghany, Low Moor.
Kathleen was born July 21, 1932 in Hematite, Virginia to the late Don Washington Owens and Hazel Dale Harrison Owens. She was a retired secretary for the general foreman of the Clifton Forge locomotive shop at Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad and enjoyed cooking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merrell Edward O’Conner and a sister, Delores Barr.
She is survived by three sons, Owen O’Conner (Kathy), Matthew O’Conner, and Don O’Conner, all of Clifton Forge; two granddaughters, Delanie O’Conner and “K. C.” O’Conner; an uncle, John Willard Owens; and a nephew, David Barr.
In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
