Betty Jean Hague (Campbell)
Betty Jean Campbell Hague, age 67, of 104 Walton Church Lane, Clifton Forge died Thursday, April 14, 2016 at LewisGale Hospital - Alleghany, Low Moor. She was born June 15, 1948 in Clifton Forge to the late Clarence B. Campbell, Sr. and Helen Virginia Rhea Campbell. She was a homemaker throughout her life. She loved watching stock car racing, and followed the career of Jeff Gordon. She was an avid San Francisco 49'rs fan, and enjoyed crochet, watching the TVLand channel, and loved spending time with her grandkids. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Junior Campbell and a grandson, Chris Via. She is survived by a daughter, Virginia "Jenny" Via and husband Chris of Quinton; two sons, Walter "Danny" Hague of Selma, and Joseph "Joe" Hague and wife Angie of Clifton Forge; a sister Martha Campbell and friend Jim Ward, Sr. of Clifton Forge; a brother, Melvin Rhea of Richmond; a sister-in-law, Joyce Campbell of Clifton Forge; three grandchildren, Shannon Hague, Caitlynn Via, and Joey Hague; and two nephews. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Gordon Hammond officiating. Interment will follow in Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge. Pallbearers will be Danny Hague, Joseph Hague, Willie Cary, Bill Campbell, Walter Hague, Jimmy Ward, Martha Campbell, Matt Campbell, Chris Via, and Virginia Via. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nicely Funeral Home.
