Obituary for Mary Tiffany (Littrell)
Mary Etta Littrell Tiffany, age 74, of 203 Interstate Drive, Covington, and formerly of Clifton Forge, Virginia died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem. Mary Etta was born September 18, 1941 in Clifton Forge to the late Robert S. and Josephine Harris Littrell. She was a self employed child care provider, and a member of Temple Baptist Church in Covington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sarah Littrell and Diane Williams. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, William Adair "Bill" Tiffany, Jr. of Covington; two daughters, Amy Tiffany of Leesburg and Karen Benoit and husband George of Clifton Forge; a son, Robert Tiffany of Covington; three grandchildren, Brett Benoit, Amanda Benoit, and Derek Benoit, all of Clifton Forge; and a great grandson, Brady Benoit. In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Friday evening, May 27, 2016 at 7:00 PM in Temple Baptist Church in Covington, with Reverend Bill Hartsfield officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 PM until the time of service at Temple Baptist Church. Inurnment of her cremains will take place at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge is handling arrangements.
