Obituary for Walter James Broughman Jr.

Walter James Broughman, Jr., age 66, of 1710 Main Street, Apartment #323, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Friday, February 24, 2017 at his residence. He was born March 30, 1950, in Alleghany County, a son of the late Walter James Broughman, Sr. and Alise Ellen Hyler Broughman. He was the owner and operator of Broughman Plumbing & Heating. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine “Poochie” Riley; three brothers, Timmy Broughman, Johnny Broughman, and Clyde Broughman; and three granddaughters. He is survived by three daughters, Karen Rocha, Belinda Newton, and Patty Broughman; three sons, Walter Broughman III, Johnny Broughman, and Tommy Broughman; two sisters, Beryl Little and Nettie Wolfe; two brothers, Bobby Broughman and Raymond Broughman; thirteen grandchildren, including a special granddaughter, Timber; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated and no services are scheduled at this time. Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge is handling the arrangements.
