Josephine Christine Nicely Burch, age 52, of 924 Commercial Avenue, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.
She was born June 12, 1967 in Clifton Forge to the late Walter G. Nicely, Sr. and Gloria Reynolds Nicely. She was 1985 graduate of Alleghany High School, and a Certified Nursing Assistant for The Golden Living Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Walter G. “Waffle” Nicely, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Alan Burch, a daughter, Alana Burch, a step mother, Josephine Reynolds Nicely, a sister, Nicole Nicely, and a sister-in-law, Amanda Burch Nicely (Scott Fischer), all of Clifton Forge; a brother, Casey Gibson (Kim) of Covington; two brothers-in-law, Matthew Burch of Wisconsin and Steve Burch; a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her former work family and close friends.
In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a date. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, July 5, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.
